2020 Running Goal – completed!

Right at the start of the year, in another world, another time, I started my goal of running 500 miles over the course of the next 12 months. I got off to a great start, and Q2 was good too (running was not curtailed during Lockdown, after all), but I had a couple of wobbles with some achilles tendonitis in June and my pretty horrible twisted ankle during our campervan trip.

I’d like to thank Runkeeper for keeping track of my activities, Above&Beyond for providing the soundtrack via Google Podcasts and my family for accommodating my running into our overall routine (which seems to work quite well).

For next year, my goal will be 1000km, or 621.4 miles, which averages 12 miles a week. If I can avoid injury, definitely feasible!
