I’ve been to the US a bunch of times – several weekends and work trips in New York City, a great road trip pre-First Born around New England and up to Montreal, lots of times to California (Emeryville and Irvine). The first time though was in 1998 post-graduation and before starting work at Sema Group, my brother and I did a road trip starting from Dallas, then flew on to Las Vegas afterwards. My friends, Josh, John and I had memorable weekends in NYC over a span of time, the first in 1999, I think.
The second time (in 2007, no idea why on earth we didn’t go back in the interim) I added some culture into the mix by booking Frost/Nixon with an up-and-coming Michael Sheen as David Frost.
