I’ve hardly been a prolific poster in recent years, but there is about to be a flurry of activity! Would you believe, it’s 5 years since the Inception of this blog, which was my first “Transformational Leave” (a short term sabbatical). That means I have had (and seized!) the opportunity for a second Transformation!
This time around, it is another adventure, but with less learning or exercise involved…the reason mainly being I am close to the end of the 2 year academic law degree I have been doing part-time, so it’s more a celebration of completing that than anything else. But it’s also the end of primary school for 9YO, 11 years of marriage for us and a recent milestone-ish birthday for my better half, so lots to commemorate! 🙂
We are going Interrailling! All four of us will be spending a lot of time on trains, over five weeks, across mainly North and Central Europe. It’s going to be interesting!
Originally we had ideas about Iceland, US/Canada campervan and SE Asia backpacking, but a big European trip by train has a lot to recommend it. (We can plan a US-CAN roadtrip another time…and SE Asia backpacking in…5 years time? 😉)
So…just checking my WordPress mobile app still works and I know how to use it! I can’t wait to chronicle our journeys during July. 😃
